I’m a Trained Holistic Voice Therapist, working with Individuals and Groups, supporting them in the discovery of their full potential through the use of the voice as a therapeutic tool.
About Me
Holistic Voice Therapy is a method of therapy that uses active and passive techniques as well as deep listening to enhance self-awareness, emotional regulation and wellbeing. As your therapist, I will create a safe and supportive space, where you can connect with your inner self and explore and cultivate your voice on a deeper level.
My approach to therapy is holistic, and I believe that the mind, body and spirit are all connected. I will work with you to create a tailored plan that meets your individual needs and goals.My journey began when I was a new mum, finding my way through the chaos of child hood wounding whilst learning to be a parent and a partner in a new relationship all at once. I had only know my older 2 children’s dad for 10 days before conceiving our daughter, we were in a whirl wind romance. After our second child and lots of challenges we started to meditate. For me during the meditation I was doing I would hear the words, you need to make sound…. Which lead me on to my journey, I found the iconic Jill Purse a renowned Sound Healer and Ancestral healer, she ran mandalas clearing ancestral wounding through ceremonial traditions. which led me on to Jonathan Goldman in America. Through this I found some deep healing, not enough to keep my relationship going with my children’s father though. we split in 2009 and I embarked on a 2 year long diploma with BAST to Learn Holistic Voice Therapy. This journey came at the perfect time to support me on the separation of the family I so longed for. I came out this training so excited by the profound joy and healing I had gained from it, I spent hours in my treatment room whilst the kids were at school using the tools I had learnt, processing the pain the resided in my physical body. I was the 4th child from a family with many challenges, I grew up feeling traumatised. I am dyslexic and ADHD, processing information I grew up with many Limiting and core beliefs that kept me repeating patterns of behaviour.
